Why are we doing this?
Rosanna Jenkins (one of the owners of Noah's Forest Friends) is a type 1 diabetic and has been since 2013. We have wanted to do something that would raise money to help fund research for a cure.
JDRF, the type 1 diabetes charity
Approximately 400,000 people are currently living with type 1 diabetes in the UK, including around 29,000 children. A person with type 1 diabetes will have around 65,000 injections and measure their blood glucose more than 80,000 times in their lifetime.
We fund research to cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes. We work with government, academia and industry to accelerate research in the UK and within healthcare policy to ensure that the outcomes of research are delivered to people with type 1 in the UK. And we give support and a voice to people with type 1 and their families.
Join us in creating a world without type 1 diabetes.
If you would like to donate to the charity you can do so by going to https://jdrf.org.uk/get-involved/give/donation-v2/
